Unfortunately, I probably will not be able to attend. My son Jacob's college (Tulane--he's a sophmore) is playing my alma mater college (Rice) that weekend in Houston and my daughter Sarah (a senior at Lake Highlands HS) is wanting to visit Rice that weekend (she plans on applying there early decision). My husband Paul and I are looking forward to being empty nesters in about a year but currently our schedules are still dominated by the kids. As for me, I've put my law degree to work in Human Resources for the last 20+ years. We've lived in Lake Highlands since 2009 and for the last 5+ years I've been playing band mom and photographer for the Lake Highlands Marching Band.
